How do I edit/configure inspection answers?

Editing inspection answers

1. Click on the question you want to edit the answers for

2. Scroll down through the question attributes until you see Select Answer Type dropdown

a. If you select Multiple Choice (Single Select) Answer Type, you can edit the following fields:

  • Choice: Enter your answer text here
  • Score: Enable or disable scoring by using the toggle button and input the the score for this answer
  • Evidence Required: Select the Requires Comment and/or Requires Photo checkboxes if you want the inspector to provide supporting evidence when selecting this answer during an inspection
     

b. If you select Date Answer type and you wish to enable scoring, select the Enable Date-Based Scoring checkbox to define scoring rules as follows:

  • "If entered date is within" dropdown: choose the comparison condition
  • Text box: enter the duration value
  • Time unit dropdown: select the unit (days, weeks, months, or years)
  • Score: specify the score that should be applied when the rule is met and not met respectively
  • Evidence Required: select the Requires Comment and/or Require Photo checkboxes if you want the inspector to provide supporting evidence when selecting this answer during an inspection




c. If you select Free Text Answer Type then you can configure the input settings using the following fields:

  • Min Character Limit: define the minimum number of characters required for the response
  • Max Character Limit: set the maximum number of characters allowed
  • Evidence Required: select the Requires Comment and/or Requires Photo checkboxes if you want the inspector to provide additional evidence when this answer is selected during an inspection



3. Your changes will be saved when you click on the save button
