How does it work?
When you are starting an inspection, you will be presented with the option of a Review Type. If Peer or Expert is chosen, you will be required to confirm your selection. Please be sure to understand the uses of each of these options, as this selection is irreversible once an inspection has begun.
Once your inspection has been completed, it will be tagged with the selected review type.
Ultimately, this feature is designed to give your organisation assurance by separating the results of more objective/external inspections within our analytics tool.
What do each of the options mean?
- Self is the default option. This will be the review type for most inspections within your organisation. If you're completing an inspection of your own ward, this is likely to be the selection.
- Peer is used when you're completing an inspection for a ward that you don't usually work in. Unless you've been asked to complete a peer review, it's unlikely you'll be required to use this option.
- Expert is used when subject matter experts or specialist teams complete an inspection - these may be central teams. Once again, if you aren't specifically completing this inspection as an expert, you won't be required to use this option.
Requirements:
