Peer and Expert Review Explained

Modified on Wed, 29 Jan at 2:54 PM

When you are starting an inspection, you will be presented with the option of a Review Type. If Peer or Expert is chosen, you will be required to confirm your selection. Please be sure to understand the uses of each of these options, as this selection is irreversible once an inspection has begun.

What do each of the options mean

  1. 'Self' is the default option. This will be the review type for most inspections within your organisation. If you're completing an inspection of your own ward, this is likely to be the selection.
  2. 'Peer' is used when you're completing an inspection for a ward that you don't usually work in. Unless you've been asked to complete a Peer review, it's unlikely you'll be required to use this option.
  3. 'Expert' is used when subject matter experts or specialist teams complete an inspection - these may be central teams.

Why am I unable to see these options when starting an inspection?

Peer and Expert inspections are only available once the feature has been enabled at your organisation - if this is something you'd like to use, please contact your Tendable Lead!
