How do I create area types?

Creating area types

1. Open the inspection type to which you would like to add an area type
2. Click Show Area Types
3. Scroll to the right of the area type column headings, then click the + icon
4. Enter the area type’s details:
   

• Area Type Name is mandatory
• Select Areas allows you to choose which areas will be tailored to inspect using the area type’s chosen questions and categories - Note: if an area is already assigned to an existing area type, selecting it here will remove it from the existing area type and assign it to the new area type - Additionally, adding an area to an area type will allow for inspections to be carried out on the area, but it may not be set up to receive inspection deadlines. Please contact the Tendable team if you wish to set up an area with the right deadlines after making changes
• Select All Questions will include all available questions when creating the area type, allowing you to begin with all inspection content enabled, and then remove content that will not be relevant to the newly created area type
• Click Create
