Actions are a way for you to create plans to improve quality in your organisation based on your inspections. You can create these while you are carrying out an inspection to flag specific issues.
Note: this feature is not enabled for all organisations - if you'd like to use Actions, please contact the Tendable Lead at your organisation.
Permissions for Actions
Once an Action has been raised within an inspection and submitted, it will be available to those with the following permissions:
- User has inspect access to that audit
- User has read access to that audit (they can see the action but not update it)
- User has been assigned to an action
Note: All users can see count of actions and their status in analytics
Note: Org admins do not automatically have access to all actions - the above rules apply to them too
Action Statuses
Every Action will have one of the following statuses:
- Not yet written: The action has been raised, but the next steps haven't been written yet.
- In progress: An action has been written up, and now requires the steps to be carried out and evidence to be submitted.
- Completed: Action plan has been carried out and all evidence has been submitted. At this point, you cannot edit the action plan any further.
- Archived: These actions are only visible via the Web Portal, and will have been archived by an Org Admin.
Note:
- Once an Action has been progress to Completed status, it will no longer be visible on mobile (only visible via Web Portal)
- The functionality on mobile is focused on progressing and closing them down
- Once an action has moved onto the next stage in the workflow, all information added at earlier stages is locked and cannot be altered.
