Can I archive actions?

Archiving actions

Actions can now be archived in bulk, which is useful for cases when:

  • an action has been raised in error
  • an action is a duplicate
  • an action is no longer relevant

How to archive an action

  1. Open the actions list within the web portal
  2. Tick the checkbox beside one or more actions
  3. Click the Archive button when you're happy with your selection
  4. (recommended) Leave a comment as to why you're closing the action, this will be added to the evidence field

All steps are shown in the video here

How do I view my archived actions?

Once an action has been archived, it can no longer be edited, but you can still access all saved information against that Action by changing the Status filter to include Archived.

Permissions required

  1. If you are a non-RBAC organisation, there are no permissions required presently - anybody with access to actions can archive an action.
  2. If you are an RBAC migrated organisation, the Organisational Admin key role can archive actions by default, and the Archive Actions Admin Permission can be assigned to any existing or new role within User Management.
